I am looking to buy airline tickets, very last minute, if I can get a good deal. I know that sometimes buying airline tickets last minute can backfire, but I was wondering if anyone had successful experience purchasing tickets (for a decent price) last minute. If you did, can you please include where you bought them from?
I forgot to mention that this trip isn’t really something I have been planning–it’s something that I want to do randomly. Also, I forgot to ask if anyone has used priceline’s name your own price option last minute. Thanks!

every last minute airline ticket site is a scam.

Can backfire? No, waiting until the last minute is ALWAYS a bad plan if you have anywhere in particular, on a particular schedule.
